$20 | In-Person at Tibet House US, or join Live Stream
Join us for a beautiful Clear Light Yoga Nidra Meditation on the shortest day of the year. This is a magical time of stillness and deep meditation. And on this first day of Winter in the Northern Hemisphere, and first day of Summer in the Southern Hemisphere, we will gather together in this most powerful portal for practice, mantra, and meditation. Michele will share a Sadhana connecting us to the Padma family of Amitabha, the Buddha of Infinite Light, and Amitayus, the Buddha of Infinite Life. Utilizing a guided sleep meditation, connected to yoga nidra and clearlight yoga, she will help the body to sleep, heal, and deeply rest, while we open our awareness to infinite light, and that which is infinite life.
We invite you to come in-person to practice directly within the beauty of the Tibet House US gallery space, surrounded by Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas, and inspiring arts.
Michele will also be Zooming with the best sound and image quality, coming into you in the comfort of your personal space. A recording will be made available after the event for ongoing practice, or if you didn't attend via live stream.
Michele is an international yoga teacher & practitioner of Hatha & Tibetan Yogas, and the founding director of the VajraYoga School of Comparative Buddhist & Indic Yogic Studies she co-teaches with Professor Robert A.F. Thurman at Menla and abroad. Based in Portlad, Oregon, she has taught, practiced, and studied avidly since 1998, and continues to run her longtime yoga school and beloved studio, The Yoga Space. Her love and commitment to the unexcelled yoga tantras of Vajrayana as paths we can take towards perfect enlightenment and the integrations of those teachings with the Hatha Yogas more broadly practiced today, seeing both as powerful and not separate extensions of one another, infuses her work with great joy and commitment to a more compassionate and awakened world.
