We will share 8 weekends together devoted to developing our personal yoga practice as well as learning to share yoga with others.

Whether you want to teach yoga skillfully or simply deepen your practice, this course is greatly transformational .

Our program is rooted in the lineage of Krishnamacharya, blending the Vinyasa flow, internal form, and intelligent progression found in the Ashtanga system, the precise alignment instructions and supported poses of the Iyengar system, and the modifications to the individual that Desikachar emphasized.

We will focus on intelligently sequencing a flow based class, practicing with alignment to protect your body and open your subtle body, and learning philosophy to deepen our yoga journey

Standing Poses & Down Dog; Yoga Sutras

Weekend 2

October 4-6 Surya Namaskar; Forward Bends; Yoga Sutras; Teaching Principles

Weekend 3
October 18-20
Hip Openers; Bhagavad Gita Philosophy; Teaching Practicum. 

Weekend 4
November 1-3

Twisting poses; Bhagavad Gita; Teaching Practicum

Weekend 5
November 22-24 

Back bending with ease, principles and assists; Teaching Practicum; Bhagavad Gita

Weekend 6
December 6-8

Art of sequencing a flow-based class; Beginning Inversions; Sarvangasana and Sirsasana cycles; Restorative Yoga; Yoga Tantra, Teaching Practicum. 

Weekend 7
January 10-12 Handstands, Arm balances, pranayama, Teaching Practicum

Weekend 8
February 14-16

Closing Weekend, Pranayama, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Subtle Body, taking seat of teacher, business of yoga

Fridays 6-8pm/ Saturdays & Sundays 11-5:30pm

Hands On Assists & applied anatomy & physiology

We learn to give and receiving intelligent alignment based & skillful assists to bring awareness and progress. We have one of the best anatomy & physiology programs and make it easy for yogis to apply
